My Traffic Dashboard Review

Traffic Dashboard ReviewI have recently discovered a new product called Traffic Dashboard.  I picked up the product to check it out because a friend of mine recommended it to me.  I have spent the last few days digging into the product and putting it to use, so I am now prepared to review the product for you.  I don’t do many product reviews and recommendations, mainly because a lot of products I look at are not really worth the investment of time and money to use them.  I have been very happy with this product, so I will give you my input on what I am seeing and experiencing.  Here we go:

1.  Great video and PDF content — The information is provided in well put together videos with supplemental PDF files for most of the modules.  Kim provided her “real world experiences” in a succinct, and easy to follow process.  The videos are not super long, and you are encouraged to take action as you go.  This is a big plus for the program in my mind.

2.  Bite size chunks — There are 20 modules which is a lot of information to digest all at once.  The material is broken up into reasonably sized lessons, so you don’t get overwhelmed and frustrated.  The pace of the training is pretty good in my estimation.  There are plenty of easy to implement “nuggets” that beginners can go do without having to learn other skills.  This is always something I look for when I am helping my “newbie” students.

3.  Unique approaches and content — There is enough information in this training that I doubt anyone will have heard of all of it.  This makes it a great tool for just about any level of marketer.  Kim speaks in a very down to earth way, and does not “talk down” to people that don’t know this particular information.  It is a refreshing approach, and makes it easy to continue to watch all the videos and learn all the “stuff ” that in in Traffic Dashboard.  It is sometimes hard for a true expert to teach in a way that even entry level student can learn and master the material.  Kim does a great job with this in my opinion.

4.  Additive effect is great — There is a lot of “meat” in this material. It can not all be implemented overnight.  I find this a good thing.  It really speaks to the value of the course.  When you implement the pieces of this traffic plan, there will be an “additive effect” of much increased traffic.  The traffic will be long term and consistently growing.  I really like this approach.

5.  Can take action and see results quickly — There are “goodies” in the modules that can be implemented today.  If you have a blog and some content, this training can quickly be used as a “force multiplier” where your existing work can be “supercharged” by the use of some of Kim’s tactics.  I have implemented no less than 5 of these tactics in the last 3 days, and I am seeing an up tick in my traffic.  This is why I really like this product a lot.  It is what I call a “tactical product”… you implement the tactics versus learning a bunch of strategies that you may or may not implement in the future.

6.  “Relationship Traffic” — There is some really good “stuff” in several of the modules about getting a LOT of traffic by getting your name out there and banding together with others to generate what I think of as “relationship traffic”.  This kind of process allows for a synergy to develop with you and a group of like minded people that you will get to know and work with.  These tidbits alone are worth the price of admission.

7.  Branding You — I constantly tell my students and clients about self branding and the power associated with this.  Kim has this concept mastered, and she is willing to teach others how she has done this.  This is another area of the training that can be “life changing” for you if you listen to the training and implement the recommendations.

8.  Promotes sharing of your best stuff – This is another one of my personal hot buttons.  Kim is very adamant about sharing your best stuff and “over delivering” when building relationships with subscribers and JV partners alike.  When you learn to openly share your best stuff on a regular basis, you really can help your brand.  Kim constantly reminds us of this in her training and is a great foundation and backbone of her training structure.

9.  Way beyond writing and submitting articles — Kim teaches some concepts of content syndication that I have never heard before or used.  The are “scary powerful” and are some of the tactics I have personally put to use already.  How to maximize the “reach” of my content has always been one of my personal “blind spots”, so this has helped me a lot already.  I am good at putting out the content, but not so great at this “syndication”.  Traffic Dashboard has helped me have a couple of breakthroughs in this area and I have only been digesting the content for a few days.

10.  Will work for anyone if you take action — This is one of the things I really like about the course and Kim’s overall approach.  There is goodness in this material for anyone.  It does not matter where you are in your online journey.  The training reinforces the need for a “bias for actions”, and there are gains to be made by anyone that takes action on any of the modules.

11.  Can earn while you learn — There is an easy way for you to earn your money back by sharing the product.  If you sell one copy of Traffic Dashboard, you will get your initial investment back.  This is a great feature for people that are on a tight budget.  I look at this as “icing on the cake”, but wanted to share it with you.

12.  Value far exceeds the price of admission –This is my bottom line assessment.  The information you get in this product is worth several times the asking price.  The key is that you take action on what you learn, and you will find that buying this product may be one of the best investments you can make in your traffic education.

Here is a video review I have put together that covers the high points:

Areas for concern/improvement:  I always like to include some areas for concern/improvement as this is a product review.

1.  Best methods require you networking with others –This is part of stretching yourself out.  Kim talks about the best earning she has done is when she is working out of her comfort zone.  Some of the modules require some self promotion and networking with others.  This has not always been one of my strongest suits, so I include it in this area.  It is not a fault of the training, but is an area that I want to highlight.  You will get the most out of this material if you get out of your comfort zone.  I just wanted to highlight this.

2.  Not all modules have a PDF yet — The product is very complete for a launch product.  I found a couple of the modules have video with no PDF.  I am sure these little things are going to be cleaned up soon.  It was not a show stopper for me, but I found the missing PDFs a little irritating.

3.  There is a lot of material… may get lost if you don’t take action — This is just an observation.  There is so much actionable content in this course that you can get a little lost if you don’t act as you go.  This is more of a recommendation than a concern.  Make sure you take action on the nuggets as you learn them, so you get the positive affect on your traffic as you continue to learn.

Overall, I rate this course very highly.  I have personally learned a lot from Traffic Dashboard very quickly.  I have also been able to implement some of the “low hanging fruit” in hours and days.. not weeks.  I really like that kind of action.  I give this course “two thumbs up” and highly recommend that you take a look at it.
