2. You Need To Sell Products Your Readers Really Can’t Do Without — If you are selling products that your readers can’t live without, you will sell a lot more of them. Your customers will buy a product based on their needs, so you want to make sure the products you are recommending have a great value to cost ratio. The better you know your readership, the easier it will be to find the “perfect” products to recommend to them.
3. You Need To Help Your Readers Solve Their Problems — You need to spend all of your blogging effort in helping your readers solve their problems. When your readers know you like to help them out and have their best interest in mind they will develop a respect for you. When you decide to recommend a product, they will check it out. This is how you start to make money from your blogging.
4. You Need To Provide Great Original Content On Your Blog All The Time — You want your readers to come to expect excellence on your blog. When you are providing excellent original content on your blog all the time, your readers will trust you a lot. If you are very predictable in your content and behavior towards your readers, it will bode well for your long term profitability on your blog.
5. You Need To Have A Help First, Sell Later Mentality — You can sell your products to your readers any time. You need to help them today. When you develop this “help first” mentality, it will be very obvious to your readers. Your readers are your blog. Without them you basically have nothing. You want to preserve this relationship at all cost. This is a hard lesson to learn for some people, but it really is true.
