Not every post is real long, but almost all of their posts are about 500 words minimum. You do not want to ever give up quality on your posts to get quantity. Remember you have real live humans reading and reacting to your posts. You never want your readers to think, “what is the point here” or “there isn’t anything here, why bother posting this?” You want to make sure your readers are very happy to come to your site and read your thoughts and tips. If they don’t like what they are seeing, they won’t be back. That is not the behavior you want from your prized readers.
2. Cover a problem and a real solution to it — You want to help your readers on a regular basis. The best way I know of doing this is to cover a problem in the niche and provide a real, actionable solution to it. People that make money blogging are very good at providing solutions to problems. You want to model this behavior, because it brings your readers back to your blog over and over again. These repeat visitors are your base traffic, and you want to grow this to a large number over time. You want to make sure your readers have many great reasons to bookmark your site and come back often to visit.
3. Teach your readers top tips and strategies — Your readers will come back to your site if you give them unique perspective and ideas. You want to write in “your own voice” and you want to interject your experiences and perspective as much as possible. When you share your unique stories, you 100% ensure that your content and perspective are unique. This approach will help you develop a fan base and this will lead to income for you from your blog.
4. Give away your best content freely — This is a must. There is no reason to “hold back” your content for some important day down the road. You only have one chance to make a first impression with your blog. You want this impression to be a good one, and this impression will come from your content and style. Make sure you routinely give away your best material and you will have a strong blog and a stronger following.
