Are you looking for some great 21st birthday gift ideas?  Finding the right way to show you care when someone is celebrating a birthday is easy – just organize a special celebration for them and yourself or if they are close to you, consider a party. First set up a basic plan like;

  • Where you will hold the event
  • Who will attend
  • Start time
  • Food and beverage choices
  • Entertainment

These are a few basics to get you started then all you have to do is prepare for the day with cleaning and setting up chairs and a buffet table etc . If you are having the function at your home or at a function center try and find time to create a slideshow (it can be projected onto a white sheet hung from a wall) of pictures over the period of the persons life. For example if it is a 21st birthday party start with their baby pictures and work your way though to current time. It creates a great atmosphere at a get together and provides a good conversation topic.

When considering food choices at your function take your budget into consideration. You can compose a list of simple yet tasty foods and allocate a dish for people to bring on the day, this makes it so much easier. However if you don’t wish to do that, it’s not practical if people are traveling from far and wide, choose a caterer that will involve you in the menu preparation. Just make sure that you have plenty of disposable plates and cups on hand as well as serviettes. One of the best parties I have ever been to in terms of organization and expense was let down by having no serviettes and sticky finger food!

For 21st birthday gift ideas consider booking into a half day spa for you and her or a night away at a vineyard, or a balloon trip! There is no limit to ideas for gifts or happy birthday wishes that you can express your sentiment through. This is also a great gift idea for girlfriends.  If you are thinking about girlfriend gift ideas then you can’t go wrong.  She will feel very special.
